Hi, I am Térèsa, better known as T.
Elven Glass is my webshop window for my handcrafted decorative homeware; working from my studio in Dumfries and Galloway South West, Scotland, where I design and make Stained Glass Effect Mirrors, Window Panels, and Vases that I hope will bring light and colour into your home. When time allows I love to indulge in painting, seascapes mostly, the magic of the image coming to life on the canvas.
In my down time I love walking, mountain biking and swimming in our local loch to blow the cobwebs away before relaxing at home with my wonderful husband, Robert and our cat ‘twinkle toes’, what can I say, I am very fortunate to be happy in love and happily loving my work.
A Wee Bit About Elven Glass
Hi, I’m T. For me, it's all about colour and the magic of design. I love creating vases, mirrors, leaded window panels, Tea Light holders, and more. I also love blending colours and discovering shapes within shapes, creating new colour palettes and working out new designs.
I love making one-off pieces, so don't hesitate to let me know if you would like anything you see. You will be the only person to have it.
I create a lot of bespoke pieces, and I am more than happy to create something for you. Just let me know what colours you are looking for, and leave the magic up to me.
Remember, this is my full-time job, so everything I make is for sale. As you will see, most of my pieces are one-offs. There is something lovely about having the only one. It also keeps me on my toes and allows the grey matter to keep me busy.
When time allows I love to paint, the pleasure and indulgence of watching an idea come to life on canvas, board or paper using mixed media at every opportunity.
