Big Wave Coming In is an original seascape painting
As the wind dies down and the clouds disperse, leaving behind rich blue skies, feeling brave, you venture closer to the sea; feel that energy as the waves pull back away from you, gathering strength. With an intake of breath, you wait. Then, before your eyes, you see the waves rise one after the other as they gather height using all that wonderful power being pushed up from deep below. The first set of white tips appear, rushing at you like an excited horse, and you know if you do not move, you will get wet as the first big waves rush on in, straight at you.

Big Wave coming in is on a neutral art card in a mount ready for you to frame. I used mixed acrylic with a hint of oil in this painting.
The landscape size is 20x25x0.03 cm in depth outer size; the actual painting size is 10x115cm.
This is an original painting. There is something lovely about having a unique, original one-off piece; I feel art should be for all, so I keep my price affordable.
I love painting, trying to capture the mood and feeling of what I have seen, often memorising feelings, emotions or the weather temperature to capture that memory in paint. You will often see me barefoot with the door open on a cool, wet day for me to feel the cold, remember the first touch of rain on my face, or by a window with the sun streaming through, the heat from the glass allowing the memories come back and help me with the paintbrush. So many colours on the beach, it can be such a colour therapy.
All my original paintings are signed on the back, I want the painting to be clean and unspoilt. A wee story or poem is often written on the back of the painting too. I hope you enjoy.
